Getting married in NH is easy on Latitude 43°:

weddingWeddings can be arranged out in the middle of the lake as the skipper is a Justice of the Peace. You may make up your own vows or use the one that we offer.

Sip your champagne and enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake as you make your vows on Lake Winnipesaukee.

To apply for a marriage license, the couple will have to go to any NH Town Clerk's office. It is advisable to apply a few weeks before the wedding. (Please remember that many rural town offices have limited hours, so they may not be available every day.) The ceremony must be performed within 90 days of issuance of the license.

You may need to bring the following items to a town or city clerk:

1. Photo identification (driver's license)
2. Certified copy of birth certificate (if you are 25 yrs or younger)
3. If divorced, a certified copy of divorce decree
4. If widowed, spouse's death certificate
5. License fee--$45.00 wedding

In the State of NH, you do not need a blood test or witnesses. Your marriage can be performed by: A judge, Supreme Court justice, assistant judge, justice of the peace, priest, rabbi, or minister residing in New Hampshire, or recognized by the State of New Hampshire. You must deliver the license to the officiant before the marriage can be performed. After the ceremony, the officiant will complete the license, sign it, and return it to the town clerk's office within 6 working days of the ceremony so your marriage can be officially registered.

State of NH requirements do change from time to time and you should check with the Town/City Clerk where you are applying for a license as to actual requirements.

We'll be happy to pop the cork and serve any food you bring or have catered on board for your very special day!
