Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in NH at 28 miles long, 15 miles wide & covering 72 square miles. The Lake is 504 feet above sea level. It was created from a glacier, is spring fed and has over 44,000 acres of sparkling clean water, 274 islands and 182 miles of shoreline. It is located in the foothills of the White Mountains and surrounded by the Ossipee & Belknap Mountains and the Sandwich Range. On a clear day you can see the top of Mount Washington from your cruise on Latitude 43° and maybe a peak of snow!
