The General Marine 26 was manufactured in Biddeford, Maine and is a new, classic "downeast" hull design with a strong commercial heritage. The cruiser has a full keel for running gear protection and lateral stability, molded in spray rails and a traditional spoon bow.
Latitude 43° is a second-generation design and shares the proven sea keeping abilities of the original design, while providing more comfortable accommodations.
The boat was custom built to the owners specifications. It has a full array of safety equipment on board and meets the requirements of the NH Department of Safety. Latitude 43° goes through a rigorous annual inspection by the NH Marine Patrol for certification to carry passengers.
On board amenities include hot & cold water, head (bathroom to landlubbers), shower and refrigerator. There is ample room to store the items that you bring on board and also a V-bunk if the kids need their afternoon nap.
The stability of Latitude 43° allows guests to move about during a cruise.
There is covered seating in the cockpit area beneath the hard top. Open seating is featured in the stern of the cruiser for those seeking sunshine.
